Did anyone catch this amazing lightning storm over half term? Reports have suggested that the storm was so powerful that large objects crashed into the ground. Can you see any of them on the picture? One eye-witness claimed, “I am sure I saw an object hovering above the Tower whilst it was lightning! Look at the picture I snapped.”

I’ve got a new sister18-02-2018 | 19:33:19 | 2 Comments

Here she is Baby Betsie and she is a real pain!

I suppose she is OK.

I just wish I knew how long she is staying for.

I have a horrid feeling it might be forever.

I just want tickles.

I can’t wait for tickles on Monday!

I love tickles too.

Storyteller in Year 306-02-2018 | 12:41:58 | 1 Comment

We were delighted to have Mrs Shorrock with us this morning in Year 3 as she read some of her favourite stores to our children.

She told them with different character voices and with different emotions, showing how books should be read. This fit in perfectly with the BBC Radio 2 500 words challenge that we are competing in. From these stories, we gained lots of ideas for our own.

For more information about the 500 Words Challenge click the link here -> http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/4h26FXFQ4KfMV7VVSbJxY3g/500-words-2018 We will be entering the children’s stories online so please keep editing them throughout half term.

Today we have been collecting mini beasts for our Science experiment. We wanted to find out which habitat our bugs preferred: dark and dry, dark and damp, light and damp or light and dry.

Have a look (turn away if you’re squeamish!)

Results are yet to be confirmed!
