Planetary Poems15-03-2018 | 21:30:28 | 1 Comment

This week, Year 3 have been learning about acrostic poems and cinquaine poems. We have read some examples and picked out their features. We then chose a planet from the solar system to describe using figurative language like similes and metaphors. Next, we wrote some drafts and edited them to make some superb acrostic and cinquaine poetry.

Finally, we got to record and perform our poems in front of the new green screen purchased by the Bispham Buddies – we were very excited and want to share them with you so take a look!

Which is your favourite and why? Please leave a comment for us to read. ‘3h’ is the password to watch these videos.

  1. Is there another copy of Joseph’s one. We can’t hear what he is saying. 😔
